Impact

The impact of our Geography curriculum is that our students leave Handsworth knowing that the world is full of opportunities to explore. We understand that enthusiasm is infectious and our teachers care deeply about the subject which transfers directly to the children. Our Geography curriculum prepares children for a wider world, and teaches them about how and why to care for our planet. They leave Key Stage 2 understanding the geographical similarities and differences in physical and human geography. They know that the world is a diverse place with a multiplicity of people and places. This deepens their understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion of others.
