PE at Handsworth provides challenging and enjoyable learning through a range of sporting activities including invasion games, net and wall games, striking and fielding games, swimming, gymnastics, dance and outdoor adventure.  Our curriculum map sets out the units to be taught each year and a child’s journey throughout their time here.

Pupils participate in two PE lessons per week, covering two different sporting disciplines.  There are a range of extracurricular sports clubs available and we attend a large number of inter-school competitions and festivals.  Year 6 sports leaders organise and lead lunchtime activities and competitions.
